Our Camp Counselors
Matt Mulholland (Camp Director & Founder of Indy Stem Camps)
In addition to being the founder and president of Indy Stem Camps, Matt has taught physics at Zionsville High School since 1999. During this time Matt’s interest in STEM has developed through his role as the sponsor of the ZCHS VEX Robotics Clubs, Astronomy Club, and the 3-D printing club. Matt lives in Zionsville with his wife Jody. They have two daughters (Maddy - 23 & Olivia - 21) who were the first campers ever to enroll in an Indy Stem Camps Minecraft Camp.
A.J. Bowman (Assistant Camp Director)
AJ is a graduate of Butler University and current music teacher at Hamilton Southeasters Junior High School. He has been with Indy STEM Camps for 10 years, beginning as an assistant counselor his sophomore year of high school. Since that time, he has led camps as well as pioneered new games and curriculums at all levels.
Katie Scachitti (Lead Counselor)
“Crafty Katie” is one of our most veteran counselors who has been with Indy Stem Camps since here sophomore year in high school. Katie is a kid at heart who knows how to make sure that every camper has a great time at Minecraft Camp. Katie will be leading camps at Fishers Jr. High School and University High School this summer.
Brynn Paul (Lead Counselor)
Brynn is a sophomore at the University of Iowa where she is studying engineering. Brynn has been a camp counselor since her Sophomore year in high school. She is now a lead counselor at our Cathedral and Options locations. Brynn brings an energy and enthusiasm to every camp she leads while connecting with every camper who walks through the door.
Shivam Dave (Lead Counselor)
Shivam is a junior at Purdue University where he studies engineering. Shivam has been with Indy Stem Camps for two years and has become one of our most knowledgeable counselors for all things Minecraft. His mastery of the game and his ability to inject fun into every activity makes him one of our most relatable counselors. Shivam leads many of our camps at University High School.
Ben Nguyen (Lead Counselor)
Ben brings his vast knowledge of Minecraft and computer technology to our summer camp program. Ben has been with Indy Stem Camps for two years where he has quickly established himself as a dynamic lead counselor who keeps every camp fresh and fun. Ben will be leading camps at Zionsville this summer.
Ryder Reed (Lead Counselor)
Ryder has been with Indy Stem Camps for three years, bringing their unique perspective and vibrant personality to every camp. Ryder serves as a lead counselor at our Fishers Jr. High Location where they make sure that every camper has a truly wonderful camp experience.
Luke Steele (Lead Counselor)
Luke is one of our most energetic counselors. After attending camps as a child, Luke began serving as an assistant camp counselor throughout his high school years. Now, as a high school graduate, he moves into a lead counselor role where his fun and sometimes crazy antics keep campers laughing all throughout the day.
Nick Elias (Senior Counselor)
Nick has been a counselors at Indy Stem Camps all through his high school career. Now, as a graduate of Cathedral High School, Nick moves into a senior counselor role where his expert knowledge and mastery of Minecraft helps campers take their gaming experience to a whole another level.
Finn Singer (Senior Counselor)
Finn is an enthusiastic and creative counselor who takes pride in helping campers learn the secrets of Minecraft. Finn is a recent graduate of Zionsville High School and will be going to Purdue in the fall.
Elisha Temoney (Senior Counselor)
Elisha returns for his second year as a Minecraft Camp Counselor where his expertise at all-things-Minecraft takes our camps to the next level. Elisha is a 2026 graduate of Zionsville High School and will be attending college in the fall.
