June 11-15

World of Minecraft Camp
June 11-15 (8:30-11:30am) @ Cathedral HS - REGISTER HERE!

For Minecraft players of all skill levels.  Join the adventure that is MINECRAFT in this exciting camp that will immerse students into the game they love.   Campers will play a special educational mod of the game on a secure server where they will explore a vast interactive ancient world map complete with thrilling quests and adventures.  In another activity, campers must work together in survival mode to design, create, and build an entire virtual community on a volcano island.   Each day will see a different set of challenges and games that will put their creativity and problem solving to the test.   Note: Campers should be able to read simple on-screen instructions.  Also, campers will not need to bring a computer to camp and they will not need their own Mojang Minecraft account. Grades 1-6 [$150]

*Parents wanting to provide a day-camp experience for their child can sign their child up for both this camp and the “Advanced Minecraft Engineering Camp” that runs during this same week.   Campers who attend both camps are welcome to bring a sack lunch and stay and eat lunch with our camp counselors during the lunch break.

Advanced Minecraft Engineering Camp – Session #1
June 11-15 (12:30-3:30pm) @ Cathedral HS - REGISTER HERE!

For intermediate and advanced Minecraft players.  In addition to many of the activities and games presented in the “World of Minecraft Camp”, campers will learn advanced crafting skills, complex Redstone engineering, and how to install and manage mods.   Campers will put their engineering skills to the test in both survival and creative worlds with individual and team-based challenges and games including Spleef, Skywars, Race for the Wool, and many more.  Note: Campers will not need to bring a computer to camp but are encouraged, though not required, to have their own Mojang Minecraft account so that they can try at home what they learn at camp.  Grades 3-8 [$150]

Minecraft MegaBuild Camp
June 25-29 (12:30- 3:30pm) @ Cathedral HS - REGISTER HERE!

For Minecraft players of all skill levels.  Welcome to the world of Minecraft MegaBuild!   Campers will work together on a secure server in creative mode to design and build a virtual model of some of the buildings on Cathedral's campus.   Students will learn about modern city planning along with design and engineering concepts related to building construction.   Campers will also design and build various other Mega-Structures including a skyscraper.   Note: Campers do NOT need a computer or a Mojang Minecraft Account. Grades 2-8 [$150]

July 16-20

Minecraft Build Battles Camp
July 16-20 (8:30- 11:30am) @ Cathedral HS - REGISTER HERE!

For Minecraft players of all skill levels.   Build Battles is for the Minecraft Player who enjoys building and showing off their creations.  Each day will present campers with a different build challenge.   A medieval castle, a luxurious mansion, a secret fortress, a deluxe tree house – these are just a few of the Build Battle challenges that will put their Minecraft skills to the test.  At the end of each day campers will get to show off their creations to the rest of the class.  Note: Campers do NOT need a computer or a Mojang Minecraft Account. Grades 1-6 [$150]

 

Minecraft All-Stars Camp
July 16-20 (12:30-3:30pm) @ Cathedral HS - REGISTER HERE!

“Minecraft All-Stars Camp” is only for campers who have completed the third grade and up and who have previously attended a Minecraft camp or who have experience playing Minecraft on a PC or MAC.  This camp will emphasize advanced Minecraft game play including complex Redstone and command block usage.  In addition to playing on our secure educational server campers will play on Minecraft Realms and learn basics of setting up a Minecraft server.  Team PVP games including “Island Battle”, “Sky Wars”, and “Walls” will be played.   Campers who attend this camp need to have an active Mojang Minecraft account or put in a request with us to use one of our temporary accounts for the week.   Grades 4-8 [$150]
